Over the past few weeks, we've taken delivery of some amazing new collections! In May, we decided to add True Bride and True Curves to our store after such great success with their three bridesmaid ranges. We love them all, but I'm especially fond of Apollo from the Nicki Flynn collection by True Bride

These amazing dresses are now in store, and we've since added the vintage-inspired tea length collection Brighton Belle so we are now a full house of True Bride dresses!

We spent some time with Team True over in beautiful Brighton and met with them again during a lovely trip to Harrogate to choose our 2023 gowns, and we are so delighted to work with such an amazing supportive team of talent.
This coming weekend, we have some great offers during our True Bride & Brighton Belle trunk show- the perfect opportunity to see the extended range!

What a Summer!

Wow! After fourteen months of lockdowns, we were looking forward to the wedding industry picking up again and getting back to enjoying our fittings with our lovely brides and bridesmaids- but we never could have predicted the surge in demand! We placed a record number of rush orders for bridesmaids dresses and raced to fittings all over the country as many bridesmaids jetted in from countries all over the world as travel restrictions relaxed.

We expected wedding parties to get smaller with fewer bridesmaids as we enjoyed such beautiful, more intimate weddings during the periods of restriction, but no- we are still experiencing a surge in numbers as we get to showcase our beautiful bridesmaids colours and styles in gorgeous combinations- This job will always bring the most beautiful delights!

For those planning to order their bridesmaid dresses- in general, your dresses will take 12-16 weeks to make, but we want to make sure you leave (a minimum of) an extra six weeks before the wedding for fittings- we've seen enough last minute rushes this year! But I have to admit, it's been worth it to see everyone look so well in the photos!

We also decided to add four new bridal collections this year and will recommence our private bridal fittings in the next few weeks. We are so excited to show you our breath-taking new styles!

One thing I have really learned this year- though I know that I will always give 100% to what I do- the surge in demand really showed me that I need to prioritise more free time. That's easily said- when a customer needs me, I always endeavour to make myself available- but I do have to consider my health, and sometimes that means saying no, especially when the extra work is simply due to a change in customer's preferences. Although we often perform last minute miracles when requested, I have to remind myself sometimes that this is a business and extra time and effort must be accounted for!
Though I have to say, our brides and bridesmaids are especially gracious and we are very grateful for the gifts and cards and lovely reviews that we receive!

We Won!

We Won!

We were so thrilled to be announced as finalists for the WeddingsOnline Awards 2022 only two years after opening our doors in Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon. We were up against some other amazing businesses and were just delighted to be shortlisted. So it was a huge surprise for us when we ended up winning the title of Bridesmaid Supplier of the Year 2022!

We couldn't have done it without our amazing customers who supported us through fourteen months of lockdown. We have been so incredibly busy ever since, which is fantastic after so many months lost to Covid-19 restrictions.

We also our our success to our amazing suppliers True Bride and Dessy Group who have been so wonderful to deal with, and releasing gorgeous new collections throughout the pandemic. We are lucky to be dealing with the best of British and New York design, and our UK Dessy office have gone above and beyond to make sure we had dresses on time and expanded and increased production at a time when it was a struggle for all suppliers.
We're just back from visiting True Bride over in Brighton- there will be a few posts to cover the amazing news we have!

One more thing.. a tiny secret- along with our award-winning British (True Bride) and American (Dessy Group) bridesmaids designs, we are working hard on launching our in-house designs this July. More on that later!
